Kidney Tracker · Last updated 14 June 2026

In short: Kidney Tracker keeps everything you enter on your own device. There is no account, no sign-up, and no analytics or tracking.

Who we are

Kidney Tracker is developed by Paul Gallagher. If you have a question about this policy, contact support@kidneytracker.app.

What the app records, and where it is stored

The app records fluid intake and output, weight, blood pressure, medications, blood-test results, reminders, and profile settings. All of this is stored locally, in a database on your device. It is not uploaded to us or to any third party.

No accounts, analytics, tracking, or ads

The app does not ask you to create an account or log in. It contains no analytics or usage-tracking, no advertising, and no third-party tracking technologies.

This website's forms

If you choose to submit the email signup or contact form on this website, the email address (and, for the contact form, your name and message) is stored securely and emailed to us so we can reply to you or notify you about the App Store launch. This applies only to the website forms — the Kidney Tracker app itself remains local-only and never sends your health data anywhere. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing support@kidneytracker.app.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. They are not sent through any server.

Reports you create

Generated reports are created on-device and shared only where you direct them. The developer receives no copy.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes any transactions, and the developer never sees your payment details. Where purchase verification is used, it relies only on limited purchase information such as your App Store transaction receipt and an anonymous app-generated identifier.

Children

The app is intended for adults managing their own records, or carers acting on someone's behalf.

Your control and deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the app removes the stored data along with it, so it is worth keeping your device backed up.

Not medical advice

The app does not provide medical guidance or diagnosis. Kidney Tracker is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice — always follow your own clinical team.
