Important: Kidney Tracker is a personal record-keeping tool. It records and totals what you enter. It is not a medical device and has no medical authority.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using the Kidney Tracker application from Paul Gallagher, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What the app is — and is not

The app lets you log fluids, output, weight, blood pressure, medications, and your own test results, and chart them against targets you configure. It does not provide clinical judgement, diagnosis, or medical guidance.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for any decisions you make. Any targets you configure should reflect the guidance of your own clinical team. The app cannot help in an urgent or emergency health situation — if you are unwell, contact your clinical team or emergency services.

4. Your data

Your records are stored locally on your device. Backing up and securing your device is your responsibility. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription, with region-specific pricing shown before purchase. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions are managed through your App Store settings. Apple processes transactions under its standard terms.

6. No warranty

The application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind regarding performance, accuracy, or uninterrupted service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not responsible for any loss arising from use of the app or reliance on the information you record in it.

8. Acceptable use

You must use the application solely for personal record-keeping and within the law, without misusing it or interfering with its operation.

9. Changes

Updates to these Terms will be posted here with a date. Continued use of the app means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
